Bishimitsu

About

A studio
built for play.

Bishimitsu is a small, independent game studio based in the UK. We make short, distinct games for iPhone, plus the odd experiment.

The idea is simple. Take the immediacy of arcade play, the kind of game you understand the moment you see it, and pair it with the care, clarity and restraint of contemporary Japanese design. Bright where it counts, quiet everywhere else.

Each game gets its own identity. Colour Connect looks nothing like REACT!, and that’s on purpose. What ties them together is how they feel to play: instant, responsive and a little bit cheeky.

Bishimitsu is run by Luke Bishop. If you’ve played one of our games and have thoughts, good or bad, we’d genuinely like to hear them.

What we care about

01 / Instant

No lag between touch and feedback.

If a tap doesn’t feel immediate, it isn’t finished.

02 / Fair

No ads, no tracking, no tricks.

Our games don’t collect personal data. You play, that’s it.

03 / For everyone

Playable without sound or motion.

Clear visuals, big tap targets, and mute that actually mutes.
